Nothing is more important than family, so that is why British rock trio Muse are cancelling two dates and rescheduling two dates on their upcoming headlining Fall tour of the U.S. Bassist Chris Wolstenholme is expecting a child with wife Kelly in November of 2010, so the band amended its itinerary in order to accommodate the child's arrival.

Resultingly, the November 2 show in Kansas City, MO, and the November 3 show in St. Louis, MO, will be cancelled with ticket refunds at point of purchase. The November 5 show in Columbus, OH, will be moved up to October 12; the November 6 show in Cincinnati moved up to October 11. Tickets held for the original dates will be honored for the new dates. Internet and phone orders will be automatically credited; outlets and box office sales need to return to point of purchase for a refund. Muse wants everyone to know that they have not forgotten the fans in Kansas City and St. Louis and fully intend to make up the cancelled shows on a future tour. So, don't get those panties in a knot if your dates were cancelled or changed. Instead, celebrate that Wolstenholme is having a kid and that the band has gone on record to promise that the dates will be made up.

Muse are touring in support of their fifth studio album The Resistance. The self-produced effort has since been certified Gold.
