After a magazine article quoted Goldie Hawn as saying that her daughter Kate Hudson had married Muse vocalist (and baby daddy) Matthew Bellamy, sparking a media frenzy of reports about the couple's status, Hawn immediately sprung into damage control mode, denying it on Twitter.
"When my daughter Kate married an English rock star it didn't worry me," Hawn was quoted as saying. "All that matters is that the relationship is a good one."
That got people talking, since it sounds very definitive.
In response, Hawn posted, "Once again [the media] twisted the truth. They aren't married."
Do you believe Hawn's backpedalling? Did she spill the beans or is the mag at fault for taking her words out of context?
