Music Regram: Lookout! It's a Flying Guitar at a The Replacements Show
Mon, 27 Apr 2015 13:06:27
It's a bird, it's a plane... no wait, it's got six strings!
Currently on a 'reformation' tour, The Replacements drummer Josh Freese shared a pic of a flying guitar. And no, it was not a "Flying V" model or a guitar with any sort of angel or bat wings, but a guitar tossed into the air at one of The Mats' recent gigs!
A rock show is all fun and games, and good times, until someone gets hit with a guitar soaring through the air.
Luckily, we don't think anyone was injured by this particular flying guitar at the rock show, and the take flight moment for the instrument was captured via an Instagram photo.
Lookout below! The photo is so candid and captures the action, but we think that the kit minder's caption comments are pretty hilarious, too.
Our instant thought upon looking at this snap? We were left hoping that someone in the road crew was able to catch the guitar and save it from being smashed to smithereens.
