Mysteries of Pittsburgh Will See Spring Release

The Mysteries of Pittsburgh is set to finally hit theaters. Despite having premiered last year at Sundance, the film has officially been picked up for North American distribution by Peace Arch and will see a Spring release. The picture is based on a coming-of-age novel by Michael Chabon.

Dodgeball director Rawson Marshall Thurber lensed the film, which features an ensemble cast that includes Jon Foster, Sienna Miller, Mena Suvari, Peter Saarsgaard, and Nick Nolte. The story is set in 1980s-era Pittsburgh, and revolves around a teenager's summer of changes and resulting relationships with his mob father, part-time girlfriend, and an assortment of others.
