    New Artist Alert: System and Station - Listen to "Occupied"

    It's NAA time – that's right, the New Artist Alert. Today, we've got System and Station, and their track "Occupied."

    Before you take a listen to the track, here's what you need to know.

    Lyrically, "Occupied," which appears on the band's currently available self-titled release, is about dealing with the Occupy protest movement.

    Principal songwriter RFK Heise (vocals/guitar/keys) told ARTISTdirect.com, "When Occupy Portland initially occurred, the first 48 hours were about the movement. After that, though, it clearly looked to me like a random free-for-all. People became occupied with themselves and their own goals and had no idea why they were there."
