A new tome, Get the Led Out: How Led Zeppelin Became the Biggest Band in the World, is due to hit book retailers on Nov. 6.
According the FMQB, the book was written by Denny Somach and begins with a day-by-day timeline based on Carol Miller's radio show of the same name, and it provides a behind-the-scenes view, revealing quirky details, achievements, and more. There were lots of those with Zeppelin.
Also, 27 rare interviews are included, featuring the band members themselves, as well as other musicians and their rocker friends (and families) who experienced it all. Among the subjects are Jason Bonham, Chris Squire of Yes, Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, and music industry legends Danny Goldberg and Ron Nevinson.
