Video Mashes Up "Girls Gone Wild" and "Revenge of the Nerds"
—this is party metal done right.
Georgia's party metal crew Attila, who represent the new breed of rock stars that DGAF, that know how to have a good time and how to make music that sticks to those ribs, which were accidentally broken while having some fun in the moshpit before it got out of control, have just shared their latest video. It's for the song "Rebel," which lives on Guilty Pleasure.
The clip is a mashup of Girls Gone Wild, but in PG-fashion, mixed with some Revenge of the Nerds plot action. Do nice guys finish last? Well, you have to watch the "Rebel" video for yourself to make that assessment.
Attila, lead by charismatic frontman Fronz, can be a polarizing band, for sure. But that's only if you don't like edgy. Attila are not afraid to inject a lot of fun, crazy lyrics and a deep hip-hop groove into their style of hard rock.
So many haters just dole out their "cut and paste" hate regarding the band, and by doing that, they really and truly miss the point.
Not every band or every song or every video needs to be serious as CIA-classified documents regarding national security matters. It's okay to laugh and have fun, and crank heavy metal while doing so.
So go ahead and watch Attila as they commandeer a high school and see what happens it some of the class geeks.
Who's the real "Rebel?"
