NYC is going country, y'all, with its very own festival.
Live Nation Entertainment and Founders will launch the first-ever country music festival in New York City. It's about damn time for NYC to get its shitkickers and 10-gallon hats on.
And it's also time to look ahead to 2015.
FarmBorough is set to take place on Randall's Island June 26 through June 28, 2015 and it will feature Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and Brad Paisley at the top of the all-star lineup.
Wow. Bryan and Paisley? And Bentley? That's quite a lineup to start.
The first additional artists to be announced for the three-day festival include Wade Bowen, Brandy Clark, Maddie & Tae, Kip Moore, Ashley Monroe, Randy Houser, The Cadillac Three and Dwight Yoakam, with more to be revealed over the coming weeks.
Three-day passes start at $225, plus applicable service charges and fees, and the tickets and passes go on-sale Thursday, November 6 at 10 AM EST. Ticketing options are farmboroughfestival.com.
