Nick Cave, Dizzee Rascal Added to PLUG Awards Show

The annual PLUG Independent Music Awards, whose honors include everything from best album of the year to best independent website and radio shows, have announced two new performers for their March 6 awards ceremony. Indie stalwarts Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, who are primed to release their 14th studio album, Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! on April 8, will join the bill along with UK, indie rapper, Dizzee Rascal, whose sophomore album, Maths + English, is nominated for best hip-hop album of the year.
The show will also feature performances from 2007's indie stars St. Vincent, the guitar wielding Annie Clark, and Swedish troubadour José González, who both have nods for best music video of the year. Tickets for the NYC event go on sale this Friday February 8. You can reserve your $10 ticket here.
