    Nirvana, Linda Ronstadt and Peter Gabriel, The Replacements, Hall & Oates, Chic, The Meters, Yes, Kiss, N.W.A, LL Cool J, Link Wray, Deep Purple, The Zombies and Cat Stevens are all nominees for possible induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

    That's an eclectic bunch of artists and they are all worthy of induction.

    More than 600 music industry personnel will select the final inductees and the new class, which will be announced in December. The induction ceremony for the induction new class will be held in New York in April.
