Seminal independent music festival Noise Pop, which will be celebrating its 21st anniversary this February, has announced the first wave of the music lineup for the upcoming festivities, which will take place throughout the Bay Area from February 26 to March 3, 2013.

With this lineup, featuring Toro Y Moi, Thao & the Get Down Stay Down, Rogue Wave, Free Energy, DIIV, Grandaddy's Jason Lytle, a DJ set by Amon Tobin and more, Noise Pop continues to reign over all things indie!

A list of all confirmed performers thus far can be found below. More confirmations will be announced shortly. Watch www.noisepop.com for more updates on Noise Pop.

Individual tickets and film badges will go on sale at 10AM PT today.

The Noise Pop Film Series will feature Turning, a film by Charles Atlas and Antony Hegarty, which showcases the indelible music of Antony and the Johnsons in a film celebrating 13 women taking the stage, who, like Antony himself, are not easily categorized personas. Their stories combine with Antony's mesmerizingly emotional songs to create a powerful journey of struggle and hope.

The film series will also include What Did You Expect? The Archer's of Loaf Live at Cat's Cradle, directed by Gorman Bechard, which stars indie rock icons, Archers of Loaf, during their 2011 reunion tour. Combining in-your-face concert footage along with rare interviews of the band, this film documents those concerts, and captures the excitement and explosive energy of their live shows.

In addition to the films, Culture Club and Noise Pop's beloved Noise Pop-Up Shop will also be returning next year.

Who's going west and to the Bay Area for Noise Pop?
