    Norah Jones to Perform at the Oscars - She'll sing "Everybody Needs a Best Friend," her "Ted" theme song

    Everybody needs a BFF, and Norah Jones knows that indisputable fact. The singer is set to perform "Everybody Needs a Best Friend,” the theme song from Universal Pictures' blockbuster comedy Ted, at the Oscar ceremony. The song, with lyrics by the film's director, Seth MacFarlane, and music by Walter Murphy, has been nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song.

    She will perform during the ceremony that will be broadcast on Oscar Sunday, February 24, on ABC at 7PM ET /4PM PT. Norah will also perform the song on NBC's Tonight Show With Jay Leno on February 8. So set some DVRs and calendar notes for it. These are "must see" perfs" from a fun song by Miss Jones.
