Six must-see bands at Webster Hall in the mosh-pit event of the month.

The Super Bowl of Hardcore used to take place in January, like the Big Game, hence the name. But now it's taking place in May and it's been rechristened the "Black N' Blue Bowl." It features a lot of cruisin' for bruisin' hard rock bands, too!

The event will crush the stages at Webster Hall on May 16 and 17, so get ready for some serious weekend fun if you are in NYC and are going.

Expect mosh-o-ramas and walls of death!

Here are six acts you can't miss.

Dave Smalley: He will perform Dag Nasty, All and Down by Law songs. He was a member of each of those bands. Need we say more? No, we don't.

Candiria: The Brooklyn band infused their gnarly metal with jazzy breakdowns. So it often sounded like improv and it was awesome. Then they sorta fell off a bit, after a near-fatal van accident and a long career that seemed to reach a logical pause. But now, they are playing, and you can't and shouldn't miss them taking the stage again, if only to watch frontman Carly Coma bounce up and down as though he were on some imaginary pogo stick after killing a can of Red Bull.

Fury of Five: OMG! This NJ thugcore band, signed to Victory Records in the late '90s, made the toughest knuckledragger music around. And we loved every second of it. This is a rare occurrence, so if you live in Europe, fly over for this gig.

Earth Crisis: The straightedge, vegan mosh metallers broke up, got back together and still play. But they were once a serious force of change and a voice for animals. If anything, go so you can erect a deadly moshpit for "Firestorm." To purify, of course.

The Regulators: This is a "can't miss" performance. The band is comprised of Darryl Jenifer and Dr. Know of Bad Brains alongside John Joseph and Mackie Jayson of Cro-Mags. Not much is known regarding the band’s performance, but given those pedigrees, all we know is that it's worth the price of a ticket or weekend pass.

Burn: Because we can never get hot enough!
