Martin Scott Jarrett, the Editor In Chief of Nylon Magazine, has completed the documentary Counting In Fives, a chronicle of The Horrors' live shows and the recording sessions behind their as-yet-untitled sophomore LP. Just in time for the Sundance Festival, too, where the band will play a Hugo Boss party and premiere the film on Friday, January 18.
"It's weird, because when we do gigs we just set out to play our songs and not annoy or wind up anyone, but we often cause loads of trouble in the process," keyboardist Rhys 'Spider' Webb said in a statement. "Still, we're not interested in pleasing everybody. And we certainly don't have a problem with pissing people off in the process. We don't care what people think of us."
The Horrors' debut, Strange House, is out now on Stolen Transmission Records, the boutique label recently dropped from the Island Def Jam family.
