The man who attacked Oasis' surly brother – well, they are both pretty surly- Noel Gallagher on stage in Toronto in September 2008 has been sentenced two a year's worth of house arrest. The man, who is 48-years-old, plead guilty to the charge of attacking Gallagher during the Virgin Music Festival. The man, Daniel Sullivan, rushed the stage and pushed Gallagher from behind. The apparently fragile Gallagher suffered three broken ribs in the attack! He claimed he felt like he was hit by a bus and had to cancel a Paris and a New York show. Jeez, is Sullivan built like a brick shit house? That would seem to be a logical assumption. He was also drunk and did not recall his actions and thus plead guilty to causing bodily harm. He will continue to work, despite being under house arrest.
Oasis have since split.
Do you think Sullivan's sentence was too lenient or too harsh?
