Old Dylan Poem Gets Placed On Auction Block
A Bob Dylan poem from the mid-1950s has been uncovered and put up for auction at Christie's. A teenage Bobby Zimmerman—Dylan's real name—penned the poem for The Herzl Herald, a newspaper at Northwestern Wisconsin's Herzl Camp. It's expected to fetch $10,000-$15,000 in bids between now and Christie's Pop Culture auction on June 23. This despite the fact that it features tweaked lyrics from an old Hank Snow track.—The ARTISTdirect Staff
