Singer Olivia Newton-John has canceled her upcoming Las Vegas residency to tend to her sister, who is battling cancer of the brain. What a wonderful sibling she is. That is so selfless of her.

ON-J was booked at the Flamingo Hotel this summer, but she is postponing the dates to support her older sister Rona, an actress who was once married to late Grease actor Jeff Conaway.

John issued a statement about tabling the residency, saying, "I received the very sad news that my beautiful sister, Rona Newton-John, has been diagnosed with brain cancer. In light of this news, I have decided to postpone my forthcoming Las Vegas residency to spend time with her and our family."

She continued, "As a cancer 'thriver' myself, as many people are, I am very aware of the importance of love, support and family during this journey she is about to begin. I want to thank everyone in advance for respecting our privacy during this difficult time."

John, 64, battled breast cancer herself and underwent a mastectomy.

We wish Rona the best! We are praying and pulling for her, and we applaud ON-J for being so selfless and loving to her sister.

What is your favorite ON-J song?
