Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson, & Rob Zombie Headlining Ozzfest Meets Knotfest

Two of metal's heaviest festivals are once again set to combine in Southern California. Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, and Prophets of Rage will headline 2017's Ozzfest Meets Knotfest. However, despite the festival's name, Slipknot will only be curating this year's festival, and are not set to perform.
Slipknot lead singer Corey Taylor, whose band Stone Sour will perform during the Knotfest portion of the festival explained in a statement, "Knotfest was never supposed to be exclusively about Slipknot. "It was always about the things that fueled the spirit of Slipknot: music, art, passion, insanity, and the tribes that give it power. So it would make sense for Knotfest to carry on these ideas, even without Slipknot. Because these things are the gasoline of creativity, and there's plenty to go around, with plenty of great bands, acts and things to see."
The festival is set to take place November 4th and 5th at San Bernardino, California's Glen Helen Amphitheater. Ozzfest will occur on the first night, which will see the previously mentioned Osbourne and Prophets of Rage, joined by Deftones, Children of Bodom, Baroness and many more.
The following night, Knotfest will bring Zombie, Manson, Stone Sour, Testament, Life of Agony, Black Dhalia Murder and more to the venue.
