Ozzy Osbourne and CSI: NY: Perfect Together. Osbourne's new song, "Let Me Hear Your Scream," which will appear on his forthcoming album, Scream, will enjoy a world premiere on CSI: NY which will be broadcast on Wednesday, April 14 at 10 PM ET on CBS. The episode, titled, "Redemption," features a death row inmate, portrayed by Lost's Harold Perrineau, who has a request that brings series regular Dr. Hawkes to a Pennsylvania prison to face a tragic incident that has been kept secret for many years. A prison riot eventually erupts, trapping the good doc inside.
"When I heard they were going to use 'Let Me Hear You Scream' for a prison riot scene, I thought, 'Well, now that's something I know about,'" said Ozzy, who spent time in prison in the U.K. for burglary before his 18th birthday. How fitting! We love Ozzy, as a singer and a hoodlum! Now his tune is the soundtrack to a riot! Fuck yeah!
"We were looking for something high energy and irreverent to sell the madness of a prison riot," said executive producer and episode writer Peter M. Lenkov in a statement. "We immediately responded to the new Osbourne tune. The song exceeded our expectations and brought exactly the right tone to the episode."
What other metal band/rocker should have their music featured on a crime procedural show like CSI: NY?
