He's baaaaaaack! Metal's godfather, Ozzy Osbourne, will unleash his tenth studio album, Scream, which is his first in three years, on June 15, through longtime label Epic Records. The album was recorded mostly at his Los Angeles home studio and is the first album to feature his new guitarist Gus G., who replaces longtime Ozzy axe Zakk Wylde, who is off doing his solo stuff and celebrating his sobriety.
Ozzy's band also features bassist Blasko, drummer Tommy Clufetos, late of Rob Zombie's band, as well as keyboardist Adam Wakeman. In addition to "Let Me Hear You Scream," which debuted on last night's episode of CSI: NY, the album's confirmed tracks are: "Diggin Me Down," "Let It Die," "Soul Sucker," "Fearless," "I Want It All," "Time," "Crucify" and "I Love You All." Aw, Oz, we wuv you, too!
In a testament to his tirelessness, Ozzy will embark on an 18-month world tour supporting Scream. There is also expected to be an announcement about Ozzfest, the currently immobilized namesake summer tour that shifted from annually to once a year in 2008, next week.
What's your favorite Ozzy song? Did you watch the episode of CSI:NY last night?
