Originally slated to support Amy Winehouse, the Scottish songwriter Paolo Nutini will now have to go it alone, thanks to Winehouse's cancellation.

"I'm terribly disappointed that I won't be sharing the stage with Amy," Nutini said in a press release. "I'll be thinking a good thought for her, she is a remarkable talent. In the meantime, I'm truly excited about this upcoming tour of North America - I guarantee it will be my best yet."

The young talent will be touring in support of his acclaimed debut These Streets which came out on Atlantic Records. The moral of the story: never rely on touring with an unpredictable alcoholic.
