CartPatti Smith to Write More Memoirs

Patti Smith won a National Book Award for her 2010 memoir Just Kids [Amazon link] but she isn't stopping there. She is planning to pen the sequel.
The first book focused on her relationship with photographer Robert Mapplethorpe whereas the sequel "is in more of the Just Kids vein and even in the similar time period, but shifts more to family, (late husband) Fred [Fred "Sonic" Smith], [and] music.”
Smith is working on a few books, so we have no timeline on when the sequel to Just Kids will hit book retailers.
