Paul McCartney: No Leather on My Tour
Tue, 08 Jan 2013 10:38:00
Vegetarian and animal rights stalwart Sir Paul McCartney has banned leather on all of his tours. His rider has leaked and these are the details.
Maca refuses to travel in limousines with leather seats and demands venues move all furniture with animal skin covers or prints from his dressing room.
The Beatles legend also bans meat all meat byproducts from the venue, insisting all food served there must be vegetarian. Not really a shock…
…what is shocking, though, is his floral fetish. Maca is quite specific about the flowers. He prefers bouquets of white lilies, white and pink roses, two arrangements of freesia, as well as weeping eucalyptus, loose gardenias, two gardenia pot plants and a bunch of wild flowers. His tour rider states: Paul McCartney is very fond of flowers… It is very important you use a florist that is reputable."
What do you think of Paul McCartney's tour demands? We think he's earned it.
