Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr Lead Artist Responses To The Death Of Beatles Producer George Martin

George Martin, beloved music producer and "the fifth Beatle," passed away last night in his home. He leaves behind his wife of nearly fifty years, Judy Lockhart Smith, and his four children, as well as an unparalleled musical legacy.
Martin was responsible for producing almost every Beatles' record. He won six GRAMMYs and was nominated for an Academy Award for his work on A Hard Day's Night.
Ringo Starr announced George's passing and Paul McCartney penned a letter about his dear friend. Support from across the globe has been pouring in, with artists stating just how much he has meant to them on social media.
