Singer/songwriter Paul Simon has partnered with luxury celebrity auction site charitybuzz to auction off a personal guitar lesson or a personal songwriting lesson in New York City. That is about as once-in-a-lifetime as you can get!
The auction will raise funds for a cause close to his heart, The Children's Health Fund. Simon co-founded the Children's Health Fund with pediatrician Irwin Redlener in 1987 to develop the nation's largest network of mobile medical, dental and mental health services for America's most underserved children and families.
Bidding is open now through June 22nd by going here. The experience is valued at over $30,000.
For those on tighter budgets and with less expendable income for cool, rare experiences with major music stars, Simon is also auctioning a signed Martin guitar to also help raise funds. Bidding is open through June 22nd here. The guitar is valued at $5,000.
If you had the financial means, would you bid on a personal guitar or songwriting lesson with a legend like Paul Simon? What would be your dream celebrity auction item or experience?
