Against-the-grain rock gods Pearl Jam will be releasing the performances on its current 2010 world tour as official bootlegs. As of right now, you can pre-order four Philadelphia shows from last October as well as check out the recently launched Pearl Jam Radio. Head on over to www.PearlJam.com for more info.
The band has been issuing bootlegs for a decade, but the 2010 series offers full-concert soundboard recordings – which means they sound really fucking good- in three formats. The CDs will be $17 per show; the downloads will be $15; and the Mp3 version will be $10. Fans can purchase in mid-May.
So what the hell is Pearl Jam radio? It's a player featured on the site and offers a constant stream of live, rare and studio Jams from that bands 20-year career. So if you're the world's biggest Jammer, Pearl Jam Radio will keep you satisfied, like a Snickers bar.
What's your favorite Pearl Jam song? Do you collect any of their bootlegs? Will you check out Pearl Jam radio? My answers to these poignant questions: "Black." No, but I do have a few. Yes, definitely.
