Penelope Cruz Reteaming with Sergio Castellitto
Fresh off her Best Supporting Actress Oscar win for Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Penelope Cruz is in talks to reteam with director Sergio Castellitto for Venuto al Mondo, which translates to Into the World. Cruz and Castellitto worked together on 2004's Don't Move, the film which is credited as launching Cruz's career as a serious and well-respected actress.Cruz admitted that nothing is concrete at this time, but that she is in discussions to star as the female lead in the film. The story is set in Sarajevo and features a single mother. It is based on a novel by Castellitto's wife, Margaret Mazzantini. The film is scheduled to shoot this year.
