CartPete Doherty Says He + Amy Winehouse Were Lovers

Bombshell alert.
Often troubled and disheveled singer Pete Doherty revealed to The Daily Mail that he and the late Amy Winehouse were lovers, but also revealed that their relationship ended sourly.
A tearful Doherty told the British paper, "This is difficult for me to admit. But, yes, it's true. Amy and I were lovers. I loved her then and, well, I still do today. But towards the end, as only lovers can, she became quite mean and cruel to me. She didn't suffer fools…and believe me, she had a mean right hook."
Both Doherty and Winehouse dealt with drug issues in their lives.
