The Who's Pete Townshend reveals in Uncut magazine's special The Who: The Ultimate Music Guide that he feels he would've done even better as a solo performer and he would be in better health if he had never joined the band. Say what?

Townshend clarified the point, saying, "Even though I am quite a good gang member and a good trouper on the road, I am bad at creative collaboration." He feels his wrist and his tinnitus-inflicted ears would be in much better shape. Well, hindsight is 20/20, Peter!
