Pete Yorn Pairs Up With Scarlett Johansson

While his latest LP, Back and Fourth, is set to drop on June 23, Pete Yorn already has his sights set on another project: a Serge Gainsbourg/Brigitte Bardot-esque duets album with Scarlett Johansson. Due out on September 8 through Atco/Rhino, Break Up, features nine tracks—eight Yorn originals and a cover of Big Star's "I Am the Cosmos." The first single, "Relator," is now streaming on the album's official site here.

"I was having a strange week of insomnia and when I finally passed out, it came to me in a dream," Yorn said in a press release about the record. "I woke up and the whole thing was in my head, fully formed."
