The film will be based on an off-Broadway play and Hoffman will direct and star in the adaptation for Overture Films. The story is an unconventional romantic comedy set in New York which features happenings that occur during cooking classes, while swimming, and while taking drugs. Shooting begins in New York City next month. Overture has a production deal with Hoffman's Cooper's Town banner.
