Phillip Phillips won Season 11 of American Idol and his coronation song "Home" went on to become a huge, platinum-sized hit, because it was good, he is talented and it was used during the 2012 Summer Olympics, a recipe for success. Now, the cutie with the kidney problems will release The World From the Side of the Moon via 19 Entertainment/Interscope Records on November 19.

Recorded at Quad Studios in New York City, the album was produced by Gregg Wattenberg (Train, O.A.R.) with Phillips writing or co-writing the majority of the album. The Leesburg, Georgia-bred songwriter enlisted his brother-in-law Ben Neill to play guitar on a few tracks! A family affair.

Will you head to the side of the moon with Phillip Phillips?
