Phoenix Teases New Track, Announces Tour

It's been far too long since French indie rock superstars Phoenix released new tunes. The last time the four-piece Versailles-based band unveiled a new album was back in 2013, when Bankrupt! solidified them as one of the biggest acts in France and America. The band hasn't even played a live show since 2014, but that's all going to change soon.
Back in November, Phoenix announced Bilbao BBK Live in Spain. Then it was announced that they would be performing at this year's Governors Ball. Now three more dates have been added to the list. The band will also be playing at Los Angeles' famed Hollywood Bowl on June 15th; Paris, France's Accorhotels Arena on September 29th; and London's Alexandra Palace on September 30th.
That wasn't all the good news for Phoenix fans, however, as we may have also just received our first taste of what might be to come — and it's good, like soup good. Along with their short tour announcement came a 29 second video filled with the sounds of sonic glow that could only come from Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix themselves.
What exactly is it? We have no idea. It's an awful tease, but just the signal of intent is enough to get our hearts racing. We will be sure to keep you up to date for any future news that comes across our desks regarding the "Napoleon Says" players.
