And we thought home ownership meant you can do whatever you want. Well you can, within reason and inside your own walls, as long as it doesn't offend neighbors.
Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour has been ordered to remove a beach hut from his seafront mansion in East Sussex, England because the city council has declared it an "eyesore" by local officials. The home is located in Brighton and Hove, which is England's most populous seaside resort.
The council feels the yellow bike storage hut is out of place in the conservation area and demanded that DG take it down. If he does not comply with their decision by the end of the month, the council will remove it forcibly and charge the cost back to Gilmour.
Time to start disassembling, David.
Should David Gilmour remove the hut or fight back? Or should he move?
