Pink Floyd's New Album Will Be Their Last

The Endless River, out in November, will be the final Pink Floyd album.
Nick Mason and David Gilmour spoke to BBC6 Music, with Gilmour saying, "This is the last thing that will be out from us, definitely. I'm pretty certain that there will not be any sort of follow up to this. Polly, my wife, thought that would be a very good lyrical idea to go out on. A way of describing the symbiosis that we had. It's a shame but this is the end."
The Endless River [iTunes link] is comprised of a few tracks that were recorded with keyboardist Richard Wright prior to his 2008 death. So he contributes from beyond, which is in and of itself a powerful notion. Gilmour admitted that he still has some leftover pieces that he will use on a solo release. He confirmed, "I have a little bit of Rick playing on some sessions that I did for my solo stuff. I still have some tracks with Rick playing on them that will hopefully appear on my next solo album. So there will be a little bit of Rick to come, but not on a Pink Floyd album."
Ah, got it.
Will you swim in The Endless River?
