If Justin Timberlake brought sexy back, then Jackie Earle Haley is bringing evil back as Freddy Krueger.

In Nightmare On Elm Street, Jackie infuses Krueger with a brand new darkness that's as hypnotic as it is harrowing. Reaching down to the character's blackened heart, Freddy abandons any and all restrictions and goes all out. Jackie's Freddy is more twisted, terrifying and tenacious than ever before. Plus, with the modern special effects to back him, Freddy can bring hell on earth much more seamlessly. However, still an important question lingers, what would Freddy have on his iPod?

"That's a good question! I'd probably go with Sinatra," laughs Haley. "I do listen to music, but for Freddy I didn't at all because for one, there's no place to put the ear buds [Laughs]. There was no place to hold the iPod. That just wasn't an option [Laughs]."

Even though, he might not have been listening to tunes for Freddy, Haley's got quite the playlist he shared with ARTISTdirect.com editor and Dolor author Rick Florino in this exclusive feature.

Check out Jackie Earle Haley's playlist below and in the video here and don't miss A Nightmare On Elm Street this Friday!

    Jackie Earle Haley's Playlist:

    1. YES

    2. Incubus

    3. Linkin Park

    4. Stevie Wonder

    5. Disturbed

Jackie Earle Haley: "I'm a big YES fan. For some reason, I've always been a YES fan. I like Incubus, Linkin Park, Stevie Wonder—kind of all over the map. I play the drums and I tend to play harder stuff. Disturbed is awesome!"
