Playlist: Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba of The Losers

On the set of The Losers, there was no shortage of killer tunes.
"I listened to a lot of '80s Seattle grunge when I was doing this movie for whatever reason," says Jeffrey Dean Morgan with a smile.
Given the film's non-stop explosive nature, it's no surprise that Morgan's iPod was set strictly to "Soundgarden." In fact, there's no better soundtrack to a big gunfight or chase scene than Chris Cornell's powerful pipes. Try it sometime…
Zoe Saldana had one particular "prep" tune from Death In Vegas that she couldn't stop spinning before she started daily. Meanwhile, Idris Elba spent a lot of time making his own music on set. He explains, "In my trailer, I had my turntables setup, and I was doing a lot of mixing at the time. We'd be in there just rocking away."
The entire cast was rocking on and off screen to all different kinds of jams, and that's what makes The Losers such a "rock 'n' roll" action flick. In this exclusive feature, The Losers stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Zoe Saldana share their playlists with ARTISTdirect.com editor and Dolor author Rick Florino
Check out their playlists below and in the video and don't miss The Losers when it storms theaters this Friday April 23!
Zoe Saldana's Playlist:
1. Death In Vegas — "Aisha"
Zoe Saldana: "There was this one song from Death In Vegas that Óscar Jaenada made me hear when I met him. It's from one of their albums, and it's called "Aisha." Thank God, he let me hear that song! I played it for Sylvain [White, Director]. Whenever we thought about my character Aisha, that was the prep song every morning. I'd always be listening to that!"
Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Playlist:
3. Pearl Jam
4. Alice In Chains
Jeffrey Dean Morgan: "I listened to a lot of '80s Seattle grunge when I was doing this movie for whatever reason. I listened to a lot of Nirvana, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam. That's what I was doing. It was cool. I don't know why, it must be the whole '80s thing with the movie [Laughs]. A little Alice in Chains too…that's more early '90s."
