CartPremiere: Aaron Hendra Project Comes "Alive" in New Video

ARTISTdirect.com has teamed up with Aaron Hendra Project to premiere the video for the power ballad "Alive," easily one of the most room-filling and moving songs we've heard all year. You can take that to the bank!
The vid features performance footage spliced with plot footage from the Pink Motel - just watch and see what happens and unfolds!
The vid has an old school, almost Super 8 cast, giving it that "vintage" look. It feels from another place and another time, like you've stepped into the past.
But rather than have us blather on about this awesome clip is, let's hear about it in Aaron Hendra's own words. He shares details about the cameos and the props, each of which has an interesting backstory.
"We really wanted to go for an edgy, retro look and feel for the 'Alive' video. It was incredible getting to work with award-winning Canadian director Michael Maxxis (Ours, Our Lady Peace, Hot Hot Heat) and guitarist Ben Carey from the band Lifehouse also makes a cameo. He’s a longtime friend and fellow countryman and brought along a local biker posse, custom choppers and his own personal, gorgeous '60s drop-top Cadillac to be used in the video." That's what we call coming prepared! What a bro.
He continued, "For the lead actress, we wanted someone with vulnerability and innocence but still lots of sex appeal. Actress/model Cameron Richardson embodies all of these things. She got her first break in a memorable Carl's Jr. commercial riding a mechanical bull and has gone on to star in TV shows such as Entourage and CSI. Needless to say, I am very proud of this video as this song has very special meaning for me."
