ARTISTdirect.com has partnered with sexy singer Jonet, she of the smoky, bluesy, old soul voice, to premiere her video for "Stole My Cool." She's like the little sister-type spawn of Adele, Amy Winehouse and Lana Del Rey, with a whole lot more badass to her.

Part of the video is shot in black and white, and we get up and close and personal with the singer. There's also technicolor plot footage of flashbacks. The girl can drink you under the table. We'll say that much, but watch and enjoy. We will say no more. Enjoy!

Here's what Jonet herself had to say about the clip: "No matter how this video is received it's most important to me that people find it to be raw and honest. When I wrote the song I was at a point in my life where I had realized people could be pretty fucked up and not everyone is going to play nice. I knew that eventually those hard harsh feelings would dull as they always do and I wanted to capture them. The lyrics tell a story and I wanted to match a visual component to that story."

She continued, "We all fall in love, in lust, in whatever you want to call real desire and, for me, I wouldn't change getting my emotions burned like that. I simply took it and made what I felt was honest and true art. Whether you love or hate the video I hope you feel strongly about it. I hope it resonates on a personal level with all the crazy bitches who lost their sense of control for a moment. At the end of the day losing that control is scary but as human beings we find our depth in those moments of desperation. I realize now I needed to feel that low to feel this high now. To see an artistic vision come to fruition is priceless... I got my cool back."

    Work it, girl!

Has anyone ever stolen your cool?
