Premiere: Juan Bago + O Want You to "Vote Right?!"
Thu, 04 Oct 2012 07:04:03
Juan Bago + O are back once again with there new parody single and video "Vote Right?!" It's at once sidesplitting and socially conscious.
In this parody, the lip-syncing comedic duo spoof the 2012 Presidential Election using the hit single "I Don't Like" by Chief Keef and Kanye West.
"Vote Right" sees the group expand their message, while maintaining the hilarious sense of humor that made them an online comedy favorite. On the day the video drops, the boys will be doing a live Twitter chat, engaging fan questions and, of course, encouraging voting.
They have also teamed up with the organization Voto Latino for the massive Dyckman Voter Registration Block Party on Sunday October 7 from 4 to 7PM at the Dyckman Bar [221 Dyckman Street Manhattan, NY]. The party encourages voters to register before registration closes on October 12.
Hosted by LBoogs, Laura Stylez, AJ EL Kallejero, and Stefi Chacon, the event will boast music by DJ C-Lo, DJ Enuff, DJ Precise, DJ Lobo and a very special appearance by Juan Bago + O.
In addition to being humorous, the duo has a lot of heart inside the new video for "Vote Right." Currently, 50,000 American Latinos turn 18 every month, but only 51% of young people are actually registered to vote. In 2008, over six million people didn't vote because they weren't able to register. 18 million people lost their homes since and need to re-register. However, this is their opportunity.
Juan Bago + O want you to be heard. Join them now!
So have a laugh, spread the word about registering to vote and make sure you #VoteRight on November 6.
