Previously Unreleased Jobriath Songs Due Out October 29

Time to walk down memory lane!
Eschatone Records, a small label based in upstate New York, will be releasing a split 10" limited-edition vinyl record with three previously unheard songs by Jobriath on one side and Avi Buffalo side project Sevendys on the other.
The release is due out October 29.
Jobriath was a game changer, as the first openly gay major-label artist. He recorded two albums for Elektra in 1973 and 1974 and was touted as "the American Bowie." He died in 1983 of AIDS-related illness.
The three Jobriath songs on the release comprise an EP called Amazing Dope Tales. They come from a 1971 reel of tape long thought lost, and have never been publicly available in any form. So they are special and rare. Collectors, take note.
The release coincides with the 40th anniversary of Jobriath's first album.
Pre-order it here.
Pre-orders include an immediate download of one track, "As The River Flows" -- instant grat!
A portion of the proceeds from Amazing Dope Tales will be donated to AIDS United.
If you were not familiar with Jobriath, will you become so? We highly recommend it.
