Never-before-seen concert footage of the late, great Michael Jackson from 1993 will be auctioned off in London this month. Jackson's ex-chauffeur is selling the taped footage, which was recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina during his "Dangerous" tour.
It is believed Jackson decided to ditch the footage after it was recorded because he was unhappy with the project and gave the only copy of the tape to his driver as a gift. So the driver is selling this rare gift bestowed upon him by his boss? That seems sort of rude, no? Maybe the driver is destitute? Or smart? It could go either way.
The two-hour film could fetch as much as $6 million. It will be auctioned off on Nov. 26.
The auctioneer said, "I'm very excited that this tape is finally going to be seen because of its quality, the amount of cameras used and the sheer closeness you are to the performance when watching it." Jackson never wanted this footage to be seen, so the fact that it is being auctioned off is a bit questionable.
Do you think it's shitty or unscrupulous of the driver to sell this footage?
