Prince had filed 22 $1 million lawsuits against fans or attendees who posted footage of his concerts online without his permission. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you and being really anti-digital. However, the Purple One has just dropped the suits.

He dismissed the suits but did retain the option to re-file.

While we didn't agree with the idea of suing people who posted live footage, you know, the threat of being sued by an artist for filming their set and posting it online might force fans to be more present and in the moment while watching a concert. Stop filming or messaging people who are not there and enjoy what's in front of your face at the moment. Live it, don't capture it. Be spontaneous.

What do you think of Price's decisions in this matter?
