Prince Preps New CDs For Target Release

Three Prince-related CDs—a pair of solo LPs, LOtUSFLOW3R and MPLSoUND, and the debut of his protégée, Bria Valente—will be released exclusively through Target on March 29. The three-disc set will be available online and in stores for $11.98, in hopes of selling millions like recent Wal-Mart exclusives from AC/DC and The Eagles.

"Prince has long been renowned as one of the world's most original and iconic musical artists," Mark Schindele, Target's senior vice president of merchandising, said in a statement. "We are thrilled to have the opportunity to share his most recent work with our Target guests."
