Prince To Be Honored With Four-Day Event At Paisley Park

One year after his death, Prince will be honored with a four-day celebration at his former home / studio Paisley Park.
The Paisley Park complex in Chanhassen, Minnesota, officially opened as a museum on October 28th celebrating the life and work of the man, and is an ideal location in which to mark the anniversary of the icon's death. The day was also declared “Paisley Park Day” by the mayor of Chanhassen.
The team now running Paisley Park have announced Celebration 2017; a series of concerts from April 20th to April 24th 2017 that will host Prince-affiliated acts like the Morris Day & The Time, New Power Generation, Liv Warfield & Shelby J with members of 3rdEyeGirl, and The Revolution are set to play Celebration 2017.
In their announcement, the organizers wrote they would be "Bringing together musicians, creative personnel, special guests and friends who worked closest with Prince and knew him best, these four days will feature live music, panel discussions and presentations on Prince's tremendous talent, influence and importance as a composer, musician, producer, live performer and filmmaker,"
General admission and VIP tickets are available to purchase now through the Paisley Park site, with the latter including photo and autograph opportunities with the artists involved, on-site parking and a meal pass.
