The festival, attended by 50,000 music fans, which features headline acts The Prodigy , Stereophonics and Neil Young, is in its eighth year after being reincarnated in 2002. The promoters claim their aim is to recreate the hippy spirit of the famous festivals held on the island in the late 1960s, when thousands of music fans watched acts such as Jimi Hendrix, the Doors and Bob Dylan.

The Prodigy's long-delayed new LP, Invaders Must Die, has finally been mixed and mastered for a March 3 release through Take Me to the Hospital/Cooking Vinyl. The album's title track is available as a free download through Wednesday on www.theprodigy.com.

According to a self-titled interview with Prodigy mastermind Liam Howlett, the album's "pretty all over the place … with one thing in common: all [the songs are] going to be played live. It's definitely a more exciting sounding record than [Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned]. That was more of a solo project because it was what we need to do at the time. This one is definitely geared to going back [to our roots] a bit."
