Pukkelpop Festival Comments on Artist Death - New details have been provided surrounding Charles Haddon's alleged suicide [an error occurred while processing this directive]

Some new information has emerged in the wake of the death of Charles Haddon, the singer of U.K. electropop act Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, who is believed to have committed suicide at Belgium's Pukkelop Festival last weekend. New intel indicates that was reportedly upset about an injury sustained by a fan during his performance. Okay, that's very sensitive of him, but I doubt it was enough cause him to hurl himself to his death, if that is indeed what he did.

There are reports that the 22-year-old singer had accidentally injured a fan after stage-diving into the crowd. A Flemish Cross spokesman is quoted is saying the girl was being treated for back and leg injuries in hospital but will make a full recovery. She was taken to the medical unit of the festival where her injuries were diagnosed. "The view of the girl on the stretcher [affected] Haddon," reports a festival crew member in the local press. Again, yes, it surely affected him, but not the extent where he had to self-injure... or maybe it did? Who knows what the singer's true mental state was at the time of his accident.

Haddon is believed to have injured himself before jumping to his death from a 60 foot satellite mast last Friday. "We have expressed our condolences to Haddon's friends and family - the case is now with the public prosecutor to investigate on the event," said Katrien Goossens, press officer of Pukkelpop.
