PUMA SOUNDCHUCK to Launch in November

Good news for audiophiles. There is a new and stylish way to enjoy your favorite tunes and it's courtesy of PUMA. The sport and lifestyle brand introduces the latest in consumer electronics with the PUMA SOUNDCHUCK, a new and innovative Bluetooth wireless speaker inspired by the sport of martial arts, specifically "nunchucks."
We love this, since we wear Chucks (as in Taylors, by Converse) on our feet and want to put these "chucks" in our ears! Thanks, we'll be here all week.
Here are the nerdy details. Skip if you're not a nerd for sound, which is a compliment by the way.
Designed with two circular speakers connected by a sleek cord resembling the popular martial arts piece, PUMA SOUNDCHUCK will be blaring music waves this month, just in time for the holiday shopping season. To add a bit of flair and fun to the product, the speakers were created with magnets, allowing you to connect and detach the speakers for your listening pleasure.
With its funky lifestyle design, cool materials, fashionable colors and versatility from indoor to outdoor use, you can take the PUMA SOUNDCHUCK from the playing fields to the locker rooms, to the dorms and bedrooms, or to the parks – bringing music wherever you go.
That's a cause we can get down with, yo!
"Music is a huge part of the PUMA DNA and expanding our audio offerings into speakers with the new PUMA SOUNDCHUCK makes perfect sense for our brand," said Jay Piccola, President and General Manager for PUMA North America. "Whether you are playing a sport, hanging with friends or at home or in the office, PUMA SOUNDCHUCK is a creative and fun way to enjoy music wherever you are."
The new PUMA SOUNDCHUCK product features include:
• Wireless, pairing with any Bluetooth Audio device
• A lightweight, sleek design weighing less than 1 pound
• Weather resistant and great for indoor or outdoor use
• Six+ hours of battery life
• Ease of use and ease of charge with a Micro-USB Cable
• Voice prompt activated
• Unique speakers that can magnetically connect together
• Take and answer calls via the built-in microphone
• Crystal clear Hi-Fi acoustics
PUMA introduced audio and consumer electronic accessories last year with PUMA earbuds for sport and lifestyle use, over-the-ear PUMA Vortice headphones and accessories such as laptop cases, iPhone and iPad cases.
Available in six colors – PUMA Red, Orange, Pink, Blue, Slate and Black – the PUMA SOUNDCHUCK retails for $129.99. Just in time for the holiday season, the PUMA SOUNDCHUCK will be available in October 2013 exclusively at Apple Stores, and rolling out at other electronic/entertainment stores globally in November 2013.
