Q&A: Take Aim with Kirsten Arian

She's a Nashville pop cutie, as opposed to a Nashville country cutie!
Today, we Take Aim with Kirsten Arian, who is cute and charming. She is also currently ascending the ranks in Nashville and it's easy to see (and hear) why. She is talented and lovely. But she is not exactly taking the country road. She is making pop music in Music City, which makes her a bit of an anomaly.
There are plenty of country cuties in Nashville. She's a pop cutie in Nashville and we love her for it!
Arian talked baking, the most deliciously awkward and unrequited love-themed pop song she has written and much more.

Hi, I'm Kirsten, an L.A. native making pop music in Nashville! Yes, you read that correctly. My debut album Higher Than Heaven is out now!
If you were not doing music, you would be...
If I wasn't doing music, I would probably be living in Africa, at least for a little while. I got to spend some time in South Africa on an incredible trip before moving to Nashville. It was literally life-changing. But then again, I also thought it would be so fun to open a bakery, even though I'm not a very good cook. I just love making people feel at home, so I would do that and my sisters could bake!
Any non-music hobbies, talents or skills?
Yes! I love to run and take dance classes. I'm not trying to be a dancer, but I want my first dance at my future wedding to be out of control. I really just love people, so I would say my biggest talent outside of music is people. Talking and being with people comes naturally for me. Which I guess might not qualify as a skill, but just something I love to do. I can also change my own oil in my car, I feel pretty great about that, too.
