Q&A: Take Aim with Turbowolf's Chris Georgiadis
Wed, 01 Jul 2015 10:21:07
Get to know these Brits.
We love Turbowolf, since they are like Royal Blood. That is, they make real rock. With their hands. And with instruments. Not laptops! How refreshing, right? The 'Wolf are from the UK and they have a girl in the band. They slay. Their latest album Two Hands is out now.
The band's lead singer Chris Georgiadis decided to Take Aim with us. He was super efficient and super fun with his responses. That's the kinda Take Aim subject we like. A lot.

Awesome, riffy space punk for Earth dwellers.

Any non-music hobbies, talents or skills?
We're really good at playing rough.
Pick ONE song one your record and share a writing or recording story. Something intimate, that you haven't told anyone else (or at least a bunch of writers or journalists) and that which puts us in the moment with you. Let's get intimate, shall we?
We drank so much water when we recorded 'MK ULTRA' that we started to hallucinate really hard. A man knocked on the door whilst we were halfway through the song, so we let him in. We were so wasted on water that everything he said sounded like a bat talking... well, more like clicking. So we mic'd him up and that recording made it on the record. The man ended up being the glass of water we were drinking and the song ended up being brilliant.

... some people like and some people don't.
